  • Our Revamped Worldwide Dropshipping Programme

Effective: 18th October 2021 onwards

Artisan Furniture US does not offer worldwide delivery at this point. If you are interested in shipping products, cross border then you need to sign up on www. artisanfurniture.net

The below will only be applicable if you are using www.artisanfurniture.net

Artisan Furniture is glad to offer a worldwide delivery service in order to provide our clients with the option of ordering products from outside the UK. This service will be available in both Europe and the rest of the world. The remainder of the world will be covered by air, while Europe will be covered by road.

Please find below the other terms of this arrangement.

  • When placing an order, you can specify the country in which you want the product shipped.
  • Below you can find a list of available countries, which will also be displayed at the time of checkout.
  • Due to size constraints, some products may not be eligible for international delivery.
  • The cost of international shipping will be estimated at the time of purchase. Free delivery is not included.
  • EU Road Shipments – Duties and taxes, if any, will be added to the product and shipping costs and will be automatically calculated at checkout.

In an ever-changing world where policies and world markets change as fast as the English weather, we are pleased to offer you a simplified dropshipping program to cover all worldwide destinations. These include the EU, the Republic of Ireland and US among many, many others.

How our system works

  • There is no requirement for a minimum order quantity.
  • There is no requirement for a monthly minimum spend.
  • VAT is paid at the checkout for UK and EU shipments, if applicable.
  • Customs duties, if any, are paid at the time of purchase for EU shipments.
  • As a result, the parcel’s recipient receives a completely paid product that includes all fees. It’s known as DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) product in logistical terms. This rule applies to all shipments within the European Union.
  • For Non-EU shipments – VAT/Taxes or Duties will be calculated but not charged at checkout. In logistics terms it’s called Delivered at Place (DAP) merchandise.

This is the Artisan way: no surprises for the recipient and no hidden fees. You expect the anticipated, and we strive to surpass your expectations every time.

IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) registration was obtained by Artisan. This enables us to collect VAT across the EU and deposit it with the appropriate authorities. In addition, we can collect duties and process shipments on a DDP basis.

Here are a few examples of how the system works.

 VAT

A wooden bedside worth £100 is being transported to Malta. Our system will automatically calculate the current Maltese VAT rate, which in this case is 18 percent. The machine will also figure out how much it will cost to transport your package, say £15. The total cost will be £115, with VAT applied to the final cost of £100 (product cost) plus £15 (shipping cost). On top of that, the VAT would be applied. In this example, the trade customer will pay £135.70 inclusive of all charges, after which they can add their own margins and resell it.

Duties

A wooden cabinet with a value of £200 is being shipped to New York City. Our system will automatically calculate the prevailing duties for the State of New York, which in this case are 12.5 percent. The system will also calculate the delivery cost, which will be £150 in this case. Duties will be applied to the final amount, which will be £200 for the product and £150 for delivery, for a total of £350. In this example, the trade customer will charge his or her customer £393.75 in tariffs and taxes, inclusive of all charges, and then add their own margins and resell it. Because we offer DAP for non-EU shipping till March 2022, the trade customer will not be responsible for paying customs and taxes to Artisan.

The below alert will appear at the time of check out against EU orders

Estimated duties and taxes can be found here. As we offer DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) for all EU road shipments, this must be paid at the time of checkout.

The below alert will appear at the time of check out against Non EU orders

Estimated duties and taxes are calculated here; however, until March 2022, these must be paid directly by the recipient at the destination – DAP.

The new procedure, like everything else in dropshipping, has advantages and disadvantages. Below are a few of them:

Pros

  1. You can join our Worldwide Dropshipping Program from practically any location in the world. Similarly, international delivery is possible.
  2. You don’t have to have any stock on hand.
  3. When you deal with us, there is no minimum spend in any way.
  4. When you check out, duties and VAT will be calculated automatically, ensuring that the recipient receives a fully paid product that includes all fees.
  5. For maximum savings, we use the most cost-effective delivery methods—economical road deliveries in Europe and premium air deliveries in the United States and the rest of the world.

Cons

  1. 1. Only business-to-business transactions are supported by this module.
  2. 2. Even if you use an international card, you can only pay in Pound Sterling. The appropriate currency rates will be applied automatically.
  3. 3. Due to volume or regulatory limits, not every product will be available for delivery in every country.
  4. 4. All of our products are stored in New Jersey, USA. As a result, delivery prices will differ based on the distance between the delivery destination between states.
  5. Unfortunately, no returns are accepted for international deliveries. In the odd event that the wrong product is sent, or if it is damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, we will ask you to dispose it. On a case-by-case basis, this is decided.
